iPad Programme FAQs


1Who is JTRS?

JTRS are Apple Solutions Expert in Education.


They are our MDM (Mobile Device Manager) providers.


They are based in Dubai and have over 10 years experience in the UK supporting education and businesses.


JTRS will help to ensure we keep both your child and their iPad safe.

Being an Apple authorised service centre the iPads will be collected onsite through the school, repaired, delivered and enrolled back to school Management System.

2How much will the iPad bundle cost and what will it include?

For the 2019-2020 academic year, the total cost of the iPad bundle is ??? AED. Your iPad bundle will include the following:

Latest model 128GB Wifi 9.7 inch iPad
Apple Charger
JTRS 3-year extended warranty plan - Next day collect, repair and return to school site (not including physical damage)

Nutkase protective cover in a choice of 8 colours with ..... school embossed logo Bundle of educational applications for learning as selected by the school (to be pushed throughout the year)

3Who will own the iPad?

You are purchasing the latest 128GB Apple iPad with charger, cover and a 3-year warranty, so you own everything.

4We already own an iPad, can we send it to school?

You will have the option to provide an iPad form home if it meets the minimum specifications of ????? in order for it to be enrolled in the school’s MDM. In doing so, the iPad will become a tool for learning and will be fully controlled by the MDM to ensure it is used purely as a learning tool. It will require complete reset.

5Can we trade old iPads or other technology?

JTRS does offer a trade in progamme for some equipment. Please contact them directly to discuss.

6Will it come home every day?

Year 1 to Year 2 iPads will remain safely locked away in our charging trolleys at school and will come home for certain tasks. Years 3 and above will be responsible for their iPads going to and from school daily and it will be an expectation that iPads are brought in fully charged every day.

7Can I have control of the iPad while it’s at home?

When at home the iPad will retain the same security and settings that they have in school keeping the device maintained, safe and secure. No changes to the device will be possible in or out of school unless done by the SVS IT team.

The enrolment of the device onto the MDM will enable certain security restrictions on the device. When under school WiFi and our firewall, the schools web filter system will block certain websites whilst the MDM controls App and management. The MDM will also enable a wonderful new application called Apple Classroom. This allows teachers to view and manage the use of all their students’ iPads from their own. The MDM will also assist in safety against loss by enabling remote wipe, lockdown and also to locate the devices if lost.

8When will I need to replace my iPad and bundle?

It is proposed that you will have to replace your iPad every three (3) years due to the technological advancements by Apple and in order for your iPad to function optimally with the school’s infrastructure.

9How you can purchase ‘The SVS school iPad Bundle?’

JTRS have created an online e-store to help you choose your iPad bundle. Please go to www.jtrs.ae​ and click on the ‘Sign Up’ in the top right-hand side

Once on the ‘Sign Up’ page, please choose ‘The .....School’ in the School name category and fill in the rest of the sign up details. Once you have completed all fields, please click ‘Send’

You will receive an email (please check filters if nothing arrives quickly) where you can click on the ‘Set your password’ link. Please click this link and create your password and make a note of this.

Once you are logged in, you will be presented with an iPad where you will need to choose which colour iPad you wish to purchase.

Once you have chosen your iPad you will see an option for the case where you need to choose which colour you would prefer. (Please make sure you click ​‘Add to Cart’​ after you have chosen your preferred colour)

Once you have chosen your iPad and case, please ‘Proceed to checkout’ where you can review your items you have chosen. If you wish to change any item in the basket, please remove the ‘iPad’ and this will take you back to the store where you can start the process again.

When you are happy with the items you have chosen, click ‘Process Checkout’ at the bottom of the page and you will taken to the ‘Invoice and shipping’ address page. ​PLEASE NOTE ALL ITEMS WILL ONLY BE

Please click ‘Confirm’ and you will taken to the final stages where you can review your basket and choose your preferred method of payment from a choice of ‘Credit / Debit Card (Telr)’, ‘Online Bank Transfer’ and Cheque payment and click ‘Pay Now’

If you choose ‘Telr’, you will be taken to another page where you can make your payment online. Once the payment has been taken, you will be taken back to the website where you will see a confirmation of your order.

If you chose to pay by Bank transfer or Cheque payment you will receive these payment instructions on your email order quotation/confirmation. Please make sure you follow these instructions carefully.

Once you payment has been received and allocated to your order, you will receive a confirmation email and an invoice.
