The primary years are where children develop the confidence, curiosity and love of learning that shape their future. At Smart Vision School (SVS), creating a positive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive is at the heart of our Primary School experience. As the school prepares for the new academic year, it is delighted to welcome Ms Lucy Nicholls as its new Head of Primary. Lucy Nicholls Brings Extensive Primary Education Experience Bringing more than 20 years of educational leadership experience across the United Kingdom and the UAE, Ms Nicholls joins the school’s leadership team with a passion for creating schools where children feel happy, supported and excited to learn every day. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside teachers and families to create learning environments where children develop confidence, embrace new challenges and enjoy coming to school, the same principles that shape our Early Years Foundation Stage and primary provision. A Child-Centred Approach to Primary Education For Ms Nicholls, great primary education begins with relationships. She believes that when children feel safe, valued and encouraged, they are more willing to ask questions, explore new ideas and develop the resilience and independence that will support them throughout their education. Welcoming Ms Nicholls to Smart Vision School, Kam Bhamra, Regional Managing Director for ISP Middle East, said: "Ms Nicholls is an experienced and highly respected educational leader whose passion for teaching and learning, together with her collaborative leadership style, makes her an excellent addition to Smart Vision School. She shares our commitment to creating a Primary School where children are inspired to learn, supported to grow in confidence and encouraged to achieve their very best. I know she will make a significant contribution to our school community." Lucy Nicholls’ Vision for Smart Vision School Ms Nicholls said she was drawn to Smart Vision School by its welcoming community and its shared commitment to putting children at the centre of everything it does. "From my first conversations with Smart Vision School and ISP, I was struck by the warmth of the community and the shared ambition for every learner. I believe children learn best when they feel happy, supported and inspired, and I am excited to work alongside our talented teachers and families to create a Primary experience where every child develops confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning." Building a Positive and Nurturing Primary Experience As Head of Primary, Ms Nicholls is looking forward to building on the school's existing strengths while supporting teachers to deliver engaging, high-quality learning every day.
